Question: What is Glaucoma and What are the Most Common Treatments?
Answer:
The proper answer is much too involved to be done this way, but the short version is......

Glaucoma as a condition in which the pressure inside the eyeball is elevated and results in damage to the retina, leading to vision loss.

The most common treatment is the use of drugs in the form of eyedrops.  These are taken daily and the drops aid in reducing the pressure inside the eye.

Other treatments include the use of lasers or surgery to create new channels for the fluid to drain from the eyeball.

Again, this is a very over-simplified answer.

Thanks for your question!
