I had a lazy eye on my right eye and they tightened the muscle but I want to know why is my eye still shifting. I just had surgery on my lazy eye; should I get glasses right away? What does strabumus mean?

Dear Ashley,
You should have an exam in a few months, but in the meantime I would think you should continue to wear your previous glasses. The surgery should not have changed your prescription for glasses.
Yes you can get glasses soon; it is advised to keep the image as clear as possible to help your eyes work together.
Strabismus- means that the two eyes are not working together - usually one eye is more obviously turned in or out than the other.
Ashley you were a right hyper eso trope, or in other words right eye turned in and up: strabismic.
