| Question: |
I have a black circle on my right eye. How can I make it go away? Do I need surgery?

| Answer: |
To Ashley:
There could be a number of things to consider - as always it sounds like you should have your eye(s) checked. Things to note before your eye exam are: which eye has the spot, the size and location of the spot, does it move, it is always present?
A thorough eye exam would be the only sure way to diagnose your "spot". I would be certainly say that it is rare to need surgery for most of the spots we see, however it should be checked.
